The following steps will guide you through installing Flash25. I you experience any issue with flash such as an "Fi" on your screen this process will help you get back to a stable version .


!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• Please ensure you are at the Media Player/Box/device with a mouse and keyboard hooked up. This will not work from your desktop workstation,phone,etc. This upgrade must happen on the Media Player.
  

1. Uninstall Flash in Windows

   1. Click the windows button.
      
   2. In the search bar type in uninstall
      
   3. Click “Uninstall a program” the first option under the “Control Panel” Heading.
      
   4. Double click Adobe Flash Player 32 to uninstall
      
   5. If you have installed our new SigneraKiosk then uninstall this program.
      

2. Download Flash 25

   1. Open your web browser and navigate to signera.net/downloads/flash25.zip. The download will start automatically. If asked, choose to save
      
   2. Once complete please click the manila folder on your taskbar.
      
   3. On the left click the downloads folder
      
   4. Right click on flash25.zip and choose “Extract All..” !!!!!DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. YOU ABSOLUTLY HAVE TO UNZIP THESE FILES. IF YOU CHOOSE TO IGNORE THIS STEP THE THE PROCCESS WILL NOT WORK!!!!"
      
   5. When the window opens click Extract
      
   6. A new window will automatically open.
      

3. Run the New Flash Uninstaller

   1. Inside the newly opened folder, right click “uninstall flash player” and choose “Run as Administrator”
      
   2. Click next when prompted.
      
   3. Flash should now be fully uninstalled from your system
      
   4. Double click “flashplayer25_0r0_171_winax” It should be the top file.
      
   5. Click next when prompted.
      

4. Ensure that updates are turned off for flash 25

   1. Click start and got to control panel
      
   2. Click on Flash Player. If you don't see it then locate the "view by" option in the top right and change it to large icons.
      
   3. Click the updates tab
      
   4. Choose never check for updates.
      

5. If you previously installed Signera Kiosk

   1. Go back to the downloads. You should have a folder called signera_update this folder was made after you extracted the zip file !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(DO NOT choose the zip. Zips are compressed files and must be extracted before you can use the programs in them correctly .This is similar to something being in a box, you must open the box to get to the item. If you do not have a signera_update folder then please right click and extract the zip again.)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      
   2. Right click “SigneraActivateFlash.bat” and run as administrator
      

6. Restart player

   1. Please restart the player and ensure that your sign starts as normal.
