With some systems, Signera includes a small Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combination to use when setting up the media player.
However you can always use your own keyboard/mouse, as the media player will accept most keyboard/mouse combinations as the media player is simply a Windows or Linux based machine.
However if your Rii mini X1 isn't working right and want to get it working, these are the first things to check:
1) First make sure the 'dongle' is taken out of the Rii mini X1 and put into one of the USB slots on the media player.
The dongle is the small USB nub that is secured on the keyboard/mouse right above the "BACK" button. Take this out of the keyboard/mouse and plug it into the computer.

2) Next, make sure the keyboard/mouse is turned on.
Click the switch on the LEFT side of the keyboard/mouse from the "OFF" to the "ON" position.

3) If you've done all this and do not see any lights on the keyboard/mouse, then its most likely that your keyboard/mouse's battery is dead.
It can be re-charged using the included cable. One end of the cable plugs into any USB port (you can use on on the media player if you'd like). The other end of the cable plugs into the LEFT side of the keyboard/mouse (see above picture under #2). Let the keyboard/mouse charge for a couple hours and try again.
