How do I open TeamViewer for Remote Support on my Media Player?
Sometimes Signera Support may ask you for TeamViewer access to help with certain issues or configuration settings on the Media Player.
The process to open TeamViewer is below. Please be sure to complete these steps on the Media Player (not your Desktop or Laptop computer).
Unfortunately we cannot TeamViewer into your media player to fix internet or wireless issues (if your sign is showing a "Red" traffic light). We also cannot TeamViewer into your media player to re-install the system (if a Tech asked you to complete this step).
Please give us access to remote into the computer and look into further.
Instructions:
- Connect a keyboard/mouse to the media player
- With the connected keyboard, hit "Esc"
- Move your mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen to pop up the Taskbar (or hit the "Windows" key to make the Taskbar appear)
- Click on Blue Internet Explorer icon or Chrome icon to open a web browser
- The browser should automatically go to
www.signera.net, if it doesn't type
www.signera.net into the address bar
- Once Signera's web site is open, click the "Tech Info" drop-down from the menu
(Note: If you don't see the menu, you may have to click on the "hamburger button" in the upper right hand corner of the page. It looks like 4 horizontal lines of varying length)
- Click on the "Support" option under the "Tech Info" drop down
- On the "Tech Support" web page scroll down until you see "TeamViewer Remote Tech Support" button on the right side on the page
- Click on the "TeamViewer Remote Tech Support" button then click "Run"
- After TeamViewer opens, it'll show an ID and 4 digit password on the screen
- Email back the ID and 4 digit password to Signera
- Leave TeamViewer running on the screen! We will remote in, fix the issue and respond when we're done.
