On Event Scheduler Module, I'm not seeing recurring events past 3 months on my calendar or any events past 1 year?
Within Event Scheduler module, you'll see this notification above the "Graphical Calendar" view:
Select an activity to edit from the calendar below (Shows entries from: Last Month to 365+ days out)
Note: For Recurring Events, the system only generates them out for up to 3-months at a time.
Why doesn't it show all my events?
This is to prevent the system spending a lot of computation time creating recurring events way out in advance that aren't needed yet.
It also prevents the system from having to download multiple years worth of regular events, when most of the time a year worth of events is sufficient.
How does it decide how far to show?
Instead, the system only generates out about 3 months worth of recurring events and about 1 year worth of any other events.
Example: So if today was March 10th, the Event Scheduler module would generate recurring events out to roughly June 8th, and any other events out to about March 9th or 10th of the following year.
How do I see my events older than a year, recurring events past 3 months or future events past 1 year then?
If you wish to see specific events on the calendar, but are unable to see them in the Graphical Calendar, we recommend scrolling down underneath the Graphical Calendar and clicking the link that says: Click Here to: View with Listing View
Once in "Listing View" you'll see the events listed more closely resembling how they display on your actual sign or media player.
To jump to a specific date, use the small calendar positioned to the right of the page. Days that contain events will be highlighted in Orange. Clicking on any individual day will show events just for that day.
You can use the "Back" and "Forward" arrows on either side of the month and year to progress (or conversely regress) between months.
Once you're done with the individual day view, you can click on (Normal View) above the Listings of events to switch back to the Normal Listing View.
Otherwise you can click the link underneath the Listings of events titled: Click Here to: View with Graphical Calendar to return to Graphical Calendar View.
