All my signs / subscriptions just moved to the same date, or my subscription pricing changed, why?

Signera recently introduced a new billing system to save our customer's money.

Our goal is always to reduce costs and make billing easier on our customer's whenever possible.

Previously our billing structure was $499/yr for media player subscriptions and $249/yr for Clone subscriptions (media players that are playing the exact same content as a $499/yr sign).

To simplify our billing, we've now moved (as of January 1st 2020) to a system where the first sign for every customer is $499/yr and every additional sign is $249/yr. It doesn't matter if that second sign is a Clone sign, or displays completely different information.

However to make the billing fair, we must have all signs expire on the same day. This way we know that the first sign (the $499/yr sign) is always billed appropriately and to reduce confusion.

If you wish to have multiple subscriptions expire at different times (for an easier cash flow perspective, or to keep signs in different quarters, etc.) that is fine, however each first sign for each invoice will always be billed at $499/yr. To setup this special billing cycle, please contact Signera Support or your Sales Manager. We will need to "turn off" the auto-move of subscriptions for your account.

For Example, let's say you have 4 signs:

2 that expire on January 20th every year and 2 that expire on June 18th every year.

Your first invoice would be for 2 signs on January 20th. You'd receive an invoice for a sign at $499/yr and a sign at $249/yr. Giving you a total invoice of roughly: $748

Your second invoice would be for the 2 signs on June 18th. You'd receive an invoice for a sign at $499/yr and a sign at $249/yr. Giving you a total invoice of roughly: $748

So for all 4 signs, given 2 invoices, you'd pay roughly: $1496/yr for a year of subscriptions (which is most likely still cheaper than what you were paying prior to January 1st 2020).

If we averaged all your subscriptions using our new system, your billing date for all 4 signs would move to April 4th and you'd receive an invoice for a sign at $499/yr, then another sign at $249/yr, then another sign at $249/yr, and finally a last sign at $249/yr.

April 4th is chosen as an average of all of your signs (to keep billing fair).

So your total invoice would be roughly: $1,246/yr which is $250 less than doing multiple bills.

If you wish to change your invoice date, or keep your signs at different expiration dates, please contact Signera Support at 301-714-0110 x1 or support@signera.net (or contact your Sales Manager).
